Sewak Al Hijazi Regular
Partake in a sunnah that revitalises your soul and your dental health!
Using the Miswak (also called Sewak) was a common ritual of the beloved Prophet Muhammad (صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ), as narrated by a number of ahadith. In fact, it was highly recommended by the Prophet (صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ) to his people as a daily tool perfect for regular teeth-cleaning and maintaining good hygiene.
As narrated by Abu Huraira, the Prophet (صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ) said: “But for my fear that it would be hard for my followers, I would have ordered them to clean their teeth with Sewak on every performance of ablution” (Sunan an-Nasai)
Hence, in can be seen, especially in this Hadith, that the cleanliness and use of the Miswak was greatly encouraged by our Prophet (صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ).
The miswak’s medium thickness and subtle taste also makes it easy and comfortable to use. Just peel the end and start chewing on it and it transforms into nature’s all-in-one toothbrush — no toothpaste required!
If you have never used a miswak before, try it for a month and revive this oft forgotten sunnah — you will not be disappointed.
